Only time will tell whether the $GE insider purchases were at highs or lows. The insiders cannot day trade to book short-term gains on their purchases, and must now hold those shares for six months.

There may be a near-term bounce, but there may be another large collapse on a percentage basis creating new stuck-holders as $GE's dividend is cut back even further.
