Hi Jersey. I have posted a few times, but this one is over my head which is why I rarely post. I have followed the LEH message boards since 07/08 when the bankruptcy happened. I followed all the fluff put on the "Lehman Lotto" site. Before that, I bought a few of the commons, the P series, and the K TRUPS and the HH TRUPS. Yes, it was just a hail mary/lottery ticket. I may seem like a stranger, but I have followed this weekly now for what, 10 years? Seems like this is taking forever.
MYEC was a great idea in theory, but the CEO has turned out to be a shady character (based on his actions over the past few years) although he is still posting progress reports on the MEC Facebook page. He had what appeared to be the only patent on a fully electronic check. Somehow the patent lapsed, and it is unclear if it is still in force. I bought a bunch of shares back when the stock was at near rock bottom .0007. It made a good run to .08 and through my ignorance and good faith (and admittedly greed) I held thinking the potential was much greater. I had enough to pay for my house if I had turned some loose when it made the run. A good friend of mine bought a ton of it, and turned it loose right before the run. He would have had nearly a million dollars worth of it had he held just a few more weeks and sold. He was nearly suicidal (not really, but...just sayin). I did have enough sense to get rid of a few while it was still in the pennies. I made a few bucks so what I have left are free and clear shares so to speak. Full disclosure. Truth.
Best of luck to you.
