I did kind of wonder if this was a new chipset we could use, but I'm not a techie by trade so my wondering just kind of got me lost! LOL! I was really focusing on the next to last paragraph -- "The release of this new RF receiver and ARM926EJ-based device sets a new standard for the combination of high-performance GPS with a complete system processor that has all the peripherals necessary to meet the needs of the growing PND market. It is an ideal complement to our automotive-grade ANTARIS GPS solution," says Matthias Kaestner, Atmel's Marketing Director for Communications Products. -- as well as this from the second paragraph -- Numerous I/O options including Ethernet, USB 2.0 Full Speed Host and Device, SD/MMC, TWI, and USARTs provide a highly-targeted System-on- Chip (SoC) solution for PND applications. --but on rereading it looks to just be addressing the personal navigation device side of things and not the other issues the CT can address. Didn't see anything to indicate that they were adapting for JBUS and OBDII protocols/input, so I guess I just read more into it initially than was actually there. Is that a possibility with this/these products though, Sans? TIA
