It also may have to do with the end of the fiscal year. To take full advantage of the NOLs or maybe “less complicated” advantage, it may have been easier to start in the beginning of the fiscal year as opposed to the end. We know RCP has a 12/31 fiscal year so it may be something as simple as that.
