If you have shares in the 'leg', you would either be paid for them or given shares in the buyer's company. If ONCI got cash for the 'leg' and we didn't directly have shares in the 'leg', then there would probably be a 'special dividend' to 'pay' shareholders based on their level of ownership of ONCI. Happens all the time, like when an asset is sold off.
