GrooveMaster: Re: People that are invested are squabbling and bashing their own investment!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would hardly call the discussions here "bashing", though that is certainly up to interpretation. I would absolutely agree that there is squabbling. However, that is part of the purpose of discussion boards. We are all free to post our opinions and criticisms, regardless of whether they offend your sensibilities, provided that we are compliant with the TOU. You, or course, are free to post your opinions about our opinions. That is the beauty of free speech.
Of course, one of the real tests of free speech is your reaction when someone says something that you do not agree with.
This is sheer idiocy. Put any spin on it you want, or any poor me story can be attached, the bottom line is to sling mud at something you own has the highest level of ignorance I have ever seen.
I am not sure that I have ever understood this argument. Let me see if I have captured the essential elements. You are claiming that it is inappropriate to question the motives and actions of the company, even when they have repeatedly failed to produce, broken promises or not met expectations. You base this position on the premise that to voice concerns and to discuss the poor performance of the company will somehow diminish the value of your investment. So, let's look at the facts, and see if they support this position. In general, the tone of this board was very positive even as late as the 10-Q that came out in March. We had recently seen a prototype released, there was a lot of speculation about a non-dilutive financing package, and just taking a quick look back at the posting activity here, it looks like the tone was at least 95% positive. Now, what was the shareprice at that time? It was trading in a tight range between about $0.33 and $0.40.
Now, 5 months later, the tone of the board is decidedly different. Many former cheerleaders are now seriously questioning the company, PRs are being dissected and criticized. Shareholders are asking very tough questions. Many are more pessimistic than optimistic. This has been a steady progression over the last few months. According to your theory, the shareprice should have seen a decline that coincided with the decline in investor optimism. So, where is the shareprice now? Trading in a tight range between about $0.33 and $0.40.
So, the facts do not support your concerns.
If you do not believe sell and move on.
That is one approach. However, it is not the only approach. There are a lot of shareholders who have lost so much on paper, that their investment is now virtually worthless. Selling would not benefit them at all. Many of these shareholder actually still believe that there is an underlying technology that, if exploited, could help them recoup their losses, or even make them some money if the company were managed properly. Those people are absolutely justified in voicing their opinions. As I stated above, this board is for *all* opinions, both pro and con. Your protestations notwithstanding.
Don't just sit here and ruin it for everyone else
You need to take responsibility for your investment decisions. Posting facts, speculation, or opinions about the company on this board will not affect the share price. The facts themselves might, but the act of posting them surely will not. If you are not pleased with the current share price, blame the company, not the posters here. No IHUB posters can ruin your investment. Only the company can. Furthermore, if you think that the action here can ruin your investment, then it may be too much risk for you, since you are powerless to change what people do here. In that case, I suggest that you take your own advice and sell.
Speaking of history most of the investor bashing is based off of that......history!
Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
