Not only is it the most low priced technique but more importantly it's also much faster and easier than going IPO a reverse merger should only take a few months while a IPO can cost millions and years to complete and I've seen IPOs delayed or cancelled if the economic conditions or market is not seen as perfect for the IPO while reverse merging is much easier better faster cheaper.
