It’s not retail or normal shorting I’m talking about. MMS short most stocks and practically all penny’s every single trading day. Shorting is when a Stock is sold without previous ownership. MMs, to make a market in a stock, are allowed to seek that which they have no inventory of as long as they buy back (cover) within 5 trading days. So if an MM wants to crash a penny Stock, they can at any time they choose (though they will likely answer to the SEC, but only if SEC is watching and investigates, something that occurs little in penny stocks and even less in Pinks).
Point is, a downtrend, often kicked off by MMs can be a signal for Richie’s broker to sell while the price is higher.
Another point is that none of this can be proven at our level. So we are always left only to speculate.
