Owner of United Breweries Group Arrested in London

There are a number of holding company structures involved here, but I believe that United Breweries (UB) is still the majority owner of Mendocino (Ticker: MENB) and that Heineken is now the largest owner of UB. Mendocino has been in default on its debt obligations for many years, but the financing bank has not moved on the debt. One would assume that Heineken will use this arrest as a way to take even more control of UB, with the primary goal being Kingfisher. It will be interesting to see how this impacts the domestic operations in California and Saratoga. I know the Saratoga brewery has done quite a bit of contract brewing over the years, but is still not brewing at full capacity.

Of course you wouldn't hear any of this from JT in a tweet or ten, huh? wink

JMOs

P.S. Why does it seem that JT has this thing with company's who are in "default of its debt obligations"? Just wondering.
