No, it really has nothing to do with Matt's system. Where ever it came from, one of the email addresses in the address book was Matt's. And also one of them was yours. Sobig just randomly picks out an address from the address book on the computer it infected to email and then to disguise where it came from randomly picks out another address to say where it came from. To try and guess where it came from you need to figure out who has yours and Matt's address in their address book.

Now it "could" be from Matt's system IF he has his own address in his address book. But since lots of others here didn't also get a message, I would say no. I'm wondering if Earthlink isn't just screening it all out for me. I got a few Tuesday and a bunch Wednesday, but none since. Either the person with my address and the infection fixed it, or Earthlink is screening it out.

I thought it was funny that I got one from Bob Barr (the former senator) but also puzzling. My address and Bob Barr's in the same address book? Possibly it was Bob Barr's system used for emailing and his address is in the address book so he knows what is being sent out to his email list.

What's of concern though, lately the virus writers seem to be getting oh so close to causing major trouble. The news accounts seem to indicate that the powers that be barely in the nick of time yesterday shut down the net connections of potentially infected computers that were about to supposedly do "something". It appears the virus code was cryptic enough, that even the experts were having trouble figuring it out.
