VC firms have a vested interest once converted to getting the price higher. After they convert and the stock has flatlined on life support, usually the VC institutes a stock promotion. Obviously the higher the stock price the more money they make. Why should they sell at .0001 and risk no bid, when they could pump it up and start selling at .002., .005, .01 or higher.
