A lull in the Basher Pumper war allowed swords to be cleansed and repairs to be made to the castle walls, trabucets, mail, shield, helmets and so forth. Much needed bathing commenced leading to a few moments of frolic and jest. Reminiscences were shared for the causalities on the banned list, those in jail and those departed by the boot.
Arrests warrants were passed out for Slippery The Short an illusive character whose identity remained a mystery to most. Speculation ran rampant and accusations flew.
