Mates: I work quite a bit with Asian companies.

They are not great communicators. Their response could have meant that there is no signed agreement or signed cooperative agreement as of the day of the email.

I constantly have to re-read their responses to me and ask for more definition or clarification.

"We have no merger or cooperation." That may mean that it hasn't happened as of the time of the email. They are very sparse with their words.
