Pretty ridiculous rise in prices...

A week ago yesterday I was on vacation and noticed that the local gas station there raised prices 4 cents to about 1.60. Thought about filling up, but decided to drive on home.

6 days later I see that local gas is 2.02 (probably up from about 1.65-1.70 the week before). I'm in shock.... I say... wow....... I'll get it tomorrow.

Next day I pass same station and it's 2.13! No time to fill up.

I complain to my sister who has an SUV and she says she went out and refused to pay 1.99 a few days ago. She passed a station for 1.89 and got half a tank, refusing to pay more. Yesterday the station was at 2.10........ she refuses to pay that again and today she decides she will have to get the other half her tank.......... SOLD OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

Ridiculous....... so......... I'm going to forgo shopping....... again... and if this keeps up, I'll bet we get warnings again.
