Having IP worth stealing is a plus in my book.

From what I've been told about Chinese counterfeiting, the majority of it is done in the actual facilities where the real goods are produced. They just run cycles in secret and sell the goods on the black market.

I want to say the cost of the machinery to do cell encapsulation would be prohibitive for the average swindler, but that's a guess.
