Many have claimed this but I am yet to see anyone and explain, quoting documents how Prefs only see face + interest.

APR was discarded the day Commons were "allowed" to survive and allotted a 25% share of estate returns.

IMO, what is being promoted is a form of revisionist history, where what has occurred is being conveniently forgotten.
