Not to stoke your paranoid fires, but the reunification of Germany was, in my opinion, a bad move. Better to keep the countries as two seperate entities than to risk another Teutanic rise. With bad times coming, who's to say how things will go there?

On the bright side. The explosion in communications has foreclosed the idea that some huge, but secret, massacre or holocaust could be contained. Exactly how long could such an obscenity last today before Geraldo, Wolf, Peter and the gang were doing live shows from the area? Comforting thought, no?
