As someone has already stated and another supplying the link to that statement, below is a quote for a company's solicitation to vote,

All stockholders as of the July 13, 2017 record date can submit consents, even if they have subsequently sold their shares, and the Company encourages stockholders to do so before September 6, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time."

Seeing the expiration date for the solicitation is set for 5PM today, that must allow the company a trading day to process all the voting data and decide where to go from here because the RS has failed.

I believe we will unlikely hear nothing today or tomorrow about the results of the voting because it will be a NO. We will likely hear something on Monday in premarket.

Today should be a big day for trading. Huge AH volume last night indicated that.
