He was workig with strip-recons. (stripping/reconstituting Treasuries)

It would create a positive P&L in his book until he had to settle....

Phantom securities, ya gotta love them!

Nick Leeson, and Barings, was taking a highly leveraged position, until he was deep deep in the hole with futures. I guess he was going for the double up and cover play

except no double, no cover :(

I think they found him hiding in the jungles of Borneo.
