I don't live in Seattle although I have been there and seen the statue. Lenin is equated with Hitler and Stalin and statues of them would not be tolerated. Fremont is a unique area of Seattle with many art works but one that represents the Communist regime should be removed.
The Confederate monument in a cemetery is not a statue but a monument to soldiers who died in the Civil War. Since it is in a cemetery and not a statue, I don't have a problem with that. It is part of America's history.
