AAR is 30 mil dollar per year market opportunity for Tempus. Take a look at Omega AAR services they are landing these type of contracts from US Navy for past 5-6 years. Moreover those who think that Tempus is buying junk planes don't know what they are talking about. These have operational life of 40+ years. Navy has used AAR planes that were 43 years old before they decided to upgrade its fleet. So L-1011 still has 10 years of life remaining. If you do little dd you can figure things out. Now the question is whether you spend 3 mil for 30 mil per year business or not and answer is obvious. By the way Omega initially was subcontractor to flight international for providing AAR services and that is Scott Terry's old company when he sold to Raytheon.
