No one "has the money". BITCF was always worth whatever you could sell it for. That's on hold for now, but when the stock reopens on the Greys, it will be in force once again. Who "has the money" when a stock drops 50% in normal trading? Nobody.

As for who'll buy when BITCF reopens on the Greys, it'll mostly be MMs who were stock holding inventory when the suspension hit. Those who shorted to provide liquidity will want to cover. But that will only last for a few days, at most. After that, there'll still be a little trading. Some people will buy anything, and ask questions later.
