That's what confuses me. Why would anyone sell here?

But with a heavy retail stock, you have scared, young investors that haven't done their DD, are trading on margin and being forced to sell on dips, or need lunch money. This is why the funds execute these FUD campaigns. They know they'll catch some people in them. However, it's only good for a short time. Others will buy into the dip as well making them less effective.
