For those who haven't looked up anything from todays news. The company USAID wants Kate work with trying to be a subcontractor for is called Chemonics. They founded a program called Orolegal

The USAID-funded Oro Legal (Spanish for “legal gold”) program, implemented by Chemonics, brings the Colombian government and large mining operations together to create a shared agenda for sustainable change in the mining sector.
