There is no short position in NEWC.

OTCShortReport is not factual. They are claiming Short VOLUME is somehow naked shorting. It isn't. There is no basis of fact in anything on that website.

The only factual source of short INTEREST is from FINRA. There is currently ZERO shares of NEWC short.

Short VOLUME is unrelated - it is simply a designation that the MM does not own the shares he trades at the time of the trade. The irony is that when debt is being converted into common shares and dumped into the market (dilution), short VOLUME goes WAY UP. That is because, by law, convertible debt holders are considered to be long the stock the second they submit the conversion notice to the transfer agent, even though the T/A has 30 days to actually deliver those shares. Thus the trade is marked by the MM as "short" (which is short VOLUME) but it is not short INTEREST as the it is considered to be a Long Trade (although if the T/A doesn't deliver the shares in 30 days, then it will become Short INTEREST as the trade was not covered).

There is not a single share of NEWC currently short.
