Yep. It's about the time you relax, the brownstuff hits the fan. I was in 'Bama by my brother's place across the bay from Mobile in February.
Caught a really nice bull redfish (42"!) and a small blacktip shark, just shorefishing/surfcasting. Used shrimp and sandfleas to catch baitfish, then cast those out and wait. (Prior to that, only fished saltwater from a boat.)

After I got back (couple weeks later..) my brother went to have a sore throat looked at, found cancer. Yikes! He went thru chemo and Radiation and has since been declared cancer free...but he had a large amount of wt-loss and sores/burns from the radiation. Been a tough road back for him.
...I don't even want to think of losing him...I'd have no one to pick on.
