Too funny. So you buy into that self-proclaimed "anti-fascist" group --a group that espouses fascist positions like the idiot KK/whit supremacist crowd?
Hate them as I do, the "pro-statue" group had the permit to assemble. The "antifa LOL" group were made up of concerned and anti-violent anti-statue protestors AND violent counter protestors that came to fight--and did.
The "pro-statue" group included non-violent people but, obviously, the ridiculous warped images of the KKK and Nazi crowd is the more alarming image than the other group of free speech pro statue crowd. (BTW, if you went to a protest and too many of "your side" is made up of clowns like the KKK, you should leave. IMO)
And the self-proclaimed violent fringe of the counter protestor was not a help.
As for "in WW2 the Russians were the good guys" only if you believed in the bipolar assumption that they were fighting the same enemy, therefore they are "good".
