Emotionally, protesters may prefer insects, but when it come to avoiding the escape of genetically modified species, I think a small flock of goats is much easier to control than a lab full of flies and their larvae.<

That’s quite true, mblimon. But trying to attribute logic to the protestors’ arguments is unlikely to be fruitful.
