Carl: NEWC success hinges on the coal mine; it always has. There is no question at all that a coal-mining permit takes YEARS to obtain. This is the same in Colombia as it is in the US and other parts of the world.

I have reviewed the NEWC permit application, the agency response, and the general time-line. I have written the agency and received responses. The application and the process are real and they indeed take time.

The latest correspondence from the agency says they will conduct the onsite inspection on September 17. Following that they should move toward completion of the review and issuance of the permit. Once the permit is issued NEWC will have to find a partnership for development of the mine.
It will be some time before we see actual mining and contracts, but once the permit is issued we will be one huge step closer to revenue.

It takes a lot of time to plan and develop a coal mine.
