Even if all the news was good, many here would spin it negative or provide some link calling it a deception or a lie!
And you somehow believe that this administration is incapable of deception and lying?! Or incapable of making predictions that turn out to be badly off the mark?
Even when most of the news is bad--as was predicted before the war--some here and many elsewhere (a) say the bad stuff is merely the acts of a few "bitterenders," and pretend to themselves that it will end if Saddam is out of the picture; they pretend that the war is over rather than acknowledge that this is the war, even though it wasn't the war that they wanted, and (b) blame the violence and continued fighting on those who predicted a scenario like this instead of the "street dancers" that Rumsfeld and Cheney predicted as well as the ones who are reporting it; they wouldn't even dream of admitting that this scenario was extremely likely from the start. Saddam wasn't going to fight the war that we chose, he is fighting on his terms.
Give me a break. You have claimed in the past to be non-partisan, but I can't recall one comment you've made that was critical of this Iraq "adventure", shall we call it.
