You heard that Trump tax reform will change short term capital gains from 1 year to 6 months? Effective when? I'd heard about some positive rate changes and shifting of brackets, but not about long term gain benefits kicking in after 6 months. That would be awesome news, but like you, still somewhat moot for me as I am holding for longer term outlook. But let's be real, if this runs to dollarville, I'll be cashing in a small % of my stash to party and buy some major toys ;)
