Wrong shotsky. If someone with the reputation and credentials that Tom has, makes a statement NASDAQ sooner than you think, one can reasonably assume Tom and co will do whatever necessary to make that happen. Again, he will not compromise his reputation - 
If the money is on Tom not risking damaging his reputation, then it is assumed he will follow through on his assertions
