Series D convert to appx 2.9mm shares effectively GE lost control on the last reverse split
Obviously, BOD can issue shares to prevent takeover, so this is a mute point, but my calculation shows 30 mm dollars remaining.
Contrary to popular belief, GE allowed new owners to enter. We have 18.5 mm shares for 44 mm dollars at an average of $2.37. So will GE take down the other 30 mm dollars by converting the Pfds, or what? Somebody or some entity significant has entered the picture this week.
