NEW PARTNERSHIP: Philadelphia-based energy company Atlas America has formed Lightfoot Capital Partners with Evanston-based hedge fund Magnetar Capital, as well as Lehman Bros. and Goldman Sachs.

The partnership will have initial equity funding of about $160 million and will invest in infrastructure and coal assets, among other things."
