Not sure if you saw us talk about the 3 day hold thing here on the board in the past or not. Most everyone here on the board at Etrade classified their accounts to a "margin" account and by doing so you bypass the 3 day settlement period and funds are available immediately after a sell. I've had mine that way for many years and never ever trade on margin but by classifying my account that way you don't have the 3 day wait. Just an FYI. It can easily be done from what most said here when they did it.
