You assume the stock would trade again if it were to be halted. That is a poor assumption. If halted it would open on the greys and MMs would say you need a form 211 so you cannot trade and they would manipulate it to death, assumming that MMs had a short position.
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot.
