Something is fishy, however, as the lot is 0.51 acres, but the sales agreement says it is 5.3 and includes vacant land. The legal description is even given, and it can be seen on the tax collector's web page that the lot is 0.51 acres, and has an assessed valuation of $311,000.
The nearest vacant land is not owned by EFLN or any family member.
This GIS map is clickable, so all the parcels can be viewed, including ownership, tax value and history. The hotel to the south is assessed for a bit less than $2 million. I think it is the same property that IS listed for sale at $4.5 million. No way would the 1/2 acre Trading Post be worth more than $500,000. http://www.sumterpa.com/GIS/?pin=G18-029
Given that, it appears that EFLN is overstating their assets by as much as a factor of, are you sitting down, 1000!!!
