I'm getting penny stock style spam about ACTC lately, touting how "Quiet period is over - Financing has closed" and "As promised, today news has come out."

Unsolicited hot stock tips from people I never heard of is a bad sign.

Subject: ACTC - News Alert
From: "Astra Thomas" <[e-mail]>

"Dear ACTC investor" - Wrongo - I never invested in this company and never dealt with Astra Thomas.

One unsolicited e-mail was September 6, the day after the skeptical WSJ article, and the day patent infringement issues became news. The e-mails neglect to mention any of this.
