It is $6,500 if you pay up-front that would include 40 hours of flying with an instructor most people will be ready at 40 hours to do their solo flight I have 20 hours from years ago so I chose to pay them by the hour which is $320 which includes 1 hour flying time with an instructor simply because I think I will be ready to do my solo flight in less than 10 hours it was the cheaper way to go. As far as classes they do the Ground School once a week I have not gone to that yet so I do not know how many people are currently trying to get there PPL license I saw 6 airplanes on the tarmac
