Great Basin Scientific, Inc. (OTCQB:GBSN), a molecular diagnostics company, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued U.S. Patent 9,657,353 for the Company's amplification suppressor. This patent is the second U.S. patent relating to Great Basin's amplification suppressor technology, expanding the Company's protection to assays, kits, and products. The protection afforded by this patent allows the Company to explore licensing of the technology to applications such as medical research, food safety, veterinary, and more.
