Corning's gorilla glass was used as an example of expired patent technology that has found new uses decades later.

Where only Corning had the industrial capacity to be a large scale supplier.

Same as CiaB will still have uses today.

No it's not the same.

Did Corning have to demonstrate or prove "gorilla glass" uses? PMCB has yet to prove to the FDA CIAB has any useful purpose.

Did Corning have competitors to "gorilla glass" who had superior products?

IF PMCB ever obtained an IND, and IF they had the funding to setup a clinical trial, and IF they could recruit patients into their study - they have competition. An Oncologist will also be questioning whether the previous ad hoc study results back in 2003 were due to Metronomic Ifosfamide alone. Then s/he will weigh recommending their patient enroll in a Metronomic Ifosfamide +- CIAB study, or a study involving Metronomic 5-FU, along with Nab-paclitaxel, Bevacizumab, Leucovorin, and Oxaliplatin. Where Bevacizumab is a anti-VEGF monoclonal antibody.

In another words there is superior competition for a decades old PMCB therapy no large Pharma was interested in licensing from Austrianova.

Nothing to spare.
