LISTEN UP! I think most of you who have seen my posts won't characterize me as a hypester or scammer or basher or anything negative, so I want to tell you about the call I just had with Dwight at Marquee at about 11:55 a.m. EST.
(1) I asked if the new CEO, Shahid Khan, is one and the same as the one listed in a yellow pages ad which appeared here earlier, and Dwight believes him to be the one and told me a few of his practice specialities, which matched with the yellow pages ad. Since there were two Shahid Khan's listed, one in Windsor and one in Mississaugo, I asked which and he told me he thinks it's the same attorney who has offices in both cities. He directed me to the following website for the Law City Society of Upper Canada:
http://www1.lsuc.on.ca/MemberDirectory/loadSearchPage.do
When I searched the above site, only one Shahid Khan was found in Windsor, none in Mississauga, which leads me to believe there is only one attorney by this name in Ontario. I believe it is in fact the one whose yellow pages ad appeared here.
(2) I asked if the cement deal was in fact dead due to the flood of investor calls to Ramada, and Dwight said the contract is STILL VALID.
HOWEVER, Dwight said that all these ridiculous calls to every person and company appearing in the PRs MUST STOP, as this is interfering with the flow of business and can jeopardize business relationships for OUR company. Marquee management appear to be adamant on this, and we will be hearing from them shortly, according to Dwight.
Please, please stop these calls. Let's not put OUR company in jeopardy; this is not in the best interest of anyone here who wants SLJB to be the great success we expect it to be. I know that all of us longs here want nothing but the best from OUR company, so let's do our part in helping that happen.
