If you choose to cut out part of his post (and by the way, instead of coaching him on IMO, perhaps you should learn how to post something where you cut words out...you put "...the part you cut..." to show something comes before and after) you turn it into an apparent factual statement.
"It seems..." sure makes it clear he was speculating to me. IMO
