Att. all: Problems reproducing images here lately? .. many will have had .. the trick F6 gave us in the one this replies to ..
"bulldzr -- to have that image here (first take the 's' out of the 'https' and then do the img command):" .. no longer works ..

to reproduce an image here now simply .. IF the Copy Image Location url is in https .. c/p and
HIGHLIGHT it, then click the Image command .. it will NOT cut the https:// as it did before .. repeat

IF https .. just c/p, 'highlight' it, then click Image and post it .. see the image below .. Why?
.. most words from here are from admin Meatloaf (John) .. used with permission ..

We changed because, in the near future, we're going completely https. If you have
"mixed content" on an https page, your browser will not show the http content.

More info if you're interested:

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Security/Mixed_content

Images on IH need to be able to be viewed with https rather than http. If the website you're
getting images from doesn't support https, download the image and upload to MyPix

https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/mypix.aspx?pagesize=10

It has to do with security.

Note also .. examples of http images still working (as always) are only because
the sites that host them also respond to https. They won't disappear in the future.

Ok .. again, most of those latter words are from John .. huge thanks to him for his help in getting us to
this new level of understanding on what the heck was/is going on with re getting images on to iHub.

Reposted to sub 'HIGHLIGHT' for original "bold", and to include a missed link.

It was Plato who said, “He, O men, is the wisest, who like Socrates, knows that his wisdom is in truth worth nothing”
