you need to get an account:
First, their help desk if very tolerant ( I've accused them of not supporting anything and they keep geting back to me...).
But, to answer your immediate question:
You want the "Save Search" option that shows up on the right of the search criteria. If you click this, it pops up a new window asking if you want updates mailed etc.
I guess this is not so intuitive and I'm not sure if the option is offered until you create a free account and login.

This should say something about "Welcome user" in the
upper right when you login:
