I've never seen any lumber used in constructon in Dubai, or anywhere else in the Gulf, in all the years I worked there in this business, except for something to stand on while taking a dump on site.

They like concrete, steel studs and aluminum down there.

I guess times have changed radically in four years, and have gone back to the stone age.
