I think Rufus and Tim are partners. Good guy bad guy kinda thing. Tim & Rufus schemed up this whole thing. After it's all done, Rufus and Tim will withdraw their sizeable short profits from their untraceable Solvenia Account and place it into a Common Law Trust with Tim as managing Trustee. Tim get's vindicated for exposing the fraud and is allowed to come back to the US. Before Tim comes back to the US, he locates a Solvenia waterfront condo complete with stables, a laptop computer, word processing and grahics software that Rufus finds suitable to lease for the rest of his life. Tim is flown back to the US on Air Force One and is immediately appointed by Republican President Bush as the new US Ambassdor to Solvenia. The Vatican and certain Texas religious groups report anonymous donations have increased 1000 fold. During all of this, Tim and Rufus have been investing large sums of money into ACTC from the previoulsy mentioned Common Law Trust. Tim is subsequently appointed to the ACTC Board of Directors. Shortly thereafter,President Bush and the Vatican change their policy towards Stem Cell Reseach.
