Both EV1.0 and EV2.0 adopt the concept of "Hot Machine" from fuel vehicle, thinking that electric reserve (battery), electric control, and electric motor (3E) are to be run under high temperature and heat, and forced cooling is necessary. The EV3.0, taking advantage of potentials of 3E's optimized combination and design so that the power system becomes a "Cold Machine" system. So forced heat dissipation is not required for 3Es, and the saved cost and weight could be replaced with increased battery weight. By doing this, the drive range and battery life can be greatly enhanced. In return, the goal of extra-high range and life time warranty of battery can be achieved.
5. To make battery, electric control and motor become "Cold Machine", following technical approach can be taken: narrow speed motor in combination with transmission, which will make the 3E be more efficient than LEAF and Tesla.
Because of very high efficiency, the temperature increment during the energy transformation process will be minimized and the whole powder system becomes "Cold Machine" without any forced heat dissipation.
6. Due to the fact that EV3.0 motor usually working under the high efficiency and ultra-high efficiency conditions, no water cooling of motor and controllers is required. Natural air cooling is enough to dissipate any heat generated. This technology fills the void space of using air-cooling for motors of more than 50 kw in the world. It not only lowers the cost of total power, but also reduce the energy consumption by water pump and air fan, increasing efficiency of power system by 20% or more. That means, under same body weight, EV3.0 can have 20% more drive range than EV1.0 and EV2.0.
