Ford motor co. was on the verge of bankruptcy many yrs ago.. 20 or so.. they had a patent on this battery . State of the art yrs ahead of anyone else. Toyota entered the picture and bought the patent from Ford , enough money exchanged hands to save Ford Motor co. What happened to said battery who knows it was shelved the patent etc. Anyway that battery today is most likely relegated to the dinosaur age. Just a bit of trivia . Now we have Dolv and version 3.0 and here we are, anticipation ..........sweet huh ?
