What Dr Alkon has said several times during presentations and when asked, is that the reason they went to 2b as fast as they did, is because of the CUP data and videos they shared with the FDA. It was also the reason that they targeted severe AD patients for the trial. I believe you are correct about the FDA and the companies releasing CUP data.
